Imagine, if you will, that you have just completed training for your profession – a Hero. You are ready to face a world of danger and excitement. You are young, fresh, and see limitless potential before you.
And then, the Overfiend comes again, ripping its way out of Amethyst Space, into the world, bringing tempests and monsters! You are called to help protect the regular people of the Tabur area. You struggle to keep them safe from sudden and extreme fluctuations in the weather and to keep them here, in real space, not sucked into the maelstrom of Amethyst.
Three days pass in this struggle.
When you thought it couldn’t get any worse – it did. Oscillations tore through Amethyst space… and through real space. Now you were fighting for your very life.
And then, something broke. Some critical piece of the world.
The Stars of the Creators were ripped from the Sky. The Creators themselves fell to the ground. All those Marked by the Creators lost sight and sound, and some lost their lives. Others were thrown into Amethyst.
And some lived. In a world scoured by tsunami, covered with the ash of a thousand volcanoes, changed beyond recognition.
Now you work for a coalition of remaining leaders of the Rogue Culture, the surviving ex-Marked leaders, the Sla’ar Clan refugees from Nar Ram Mar, and the mysterious teams from Falcon Auxiliary Base 4 to rebuild what you can.
And to hold back the insatiable domination of the Fallen Os’Plajet – the Creator of Joy and Laughter, who is laughing no more.
Currently, you are tasked with searching the ruins of the powerful magics that once imprisoned the Hybrid survivors of the Hybrid War, for anything, any magics, that will help C.O.R.E.** rebuild and survive.
